	21st April 1898	Horace W. Cullum establishes company specialising in building products for noise control.
	1928	Jack W. Cullum (Horace’s son) joins company.
	1929	Jack W. Cullum studies the 'new science' of acoustics in USA.
	1930 - 1936	Jack Cullum develops several new innovative building products, including the first suspended ceiling systems.
	1959	Cullum Detuners Limited (CDL) established.
	1972	CDL wins first order to package two gas turbine driven gas compression sets for Cooper Energy Services.
	1978	CDL wins first offshore acoustic packages on Cormorant ‘A’ Platform for GEC Whetstone.
	2005	CDL wins contract to build new test bed at Rolls Royce plc in Derby.
